The ABCM-1250 CNC beam-coping machine's triple torch design allows you to cut two flanges at once. Flange thins can be performed simultaneously on top and bottom flanges. Weld prep can also be done concurrently to keep operating costs low. The ABCM-1250 oxyfuel coper makes it possible to do more close flange cutting without the need for torch probing.

AFD CNC Flange and Plate Drilling Machines can drill up to 680 mm and 1/4" through 3-1/8". Material is driven on the table using balls. It is then fixed with hydraulic clamping jaws. Material is positioned to the desired coordinates for drilling/marking/tapping by CNC program and then operation starts.

These outputs could be H, I, and T beams respectively, or U and L channels.
These two features have been designed to improve cutting precision. They are not standard on beam coping machines. Voortman comes with them.

A coping saw is what you need if you're cutting intricate exteriors or interior cuts into wood. A hacksaw is a tool that can be used to cut metal pipes and plastic.
Support for beam splices should be provided by some type of post or structural column. A foot-ing should be provided that the column or post rests on. The beams should be attached to the post using an approved metal connector. The beams must be supported by at most 1 in.
Steel is stronger than wood pound for pound. It's amazing to see how engineered wood beams have evolved over the past 40-years.
To remove more wood from the back, angle the coping saw 30 degrees. Pro tip: Trimmings that have been cut with coping cuts can often leave thin, pointed tips. To prevent them from splintering, support the tips with your finger while you file, cut, or sand. Pro tip: Keep your eyes on the outside of the line.
I-Beam. . . . This is the ultimate beam profile. It is extremely strong in the vertical direction and has an equal response to all other forces. It is the strongest profile in strength to weight (vertical), making it an excellent DIY beam profile for Cranes and main beams for long and large trailers.
